By the end of the 20th century, global warming consumed 75% of the world's habitable land, forcing humanity to build new, elevated cities above those the sea now claims.

But the floods have not only claimed land. Millions of people have also been killed, leaving the humanities workforce severely depleted and, as a result, creating a robotic workforce to handle the workload.

Binary Domainplaces the player in the role of Dan Marshall, leader of the R.U.S.T team sent to Tokyo to arrest the CEO of Amada. Gameplay revolves around third-person, squad-based, cover-based combat.

Players will interact heavily with the robot armies sent by Amada to stop them, but instead of simply being able to shoot and kill the robots, they can strategically dismember them, removing their arms will prevent them from firing, removing their legs will slow them down, etc. However, this may not leave them permanently, at which point you will have to do more work.

As this is also a squad-based game, players will also be able to use your squad to help you take down some of the larger opponents by having them concentrate fire on specific points. Binary Domain also has voice recognition, so players can also issue voice commands to AI companions if they have a headset to do so.
