The hero arrives on a mysterious, seemingly paradisiacal island, where he needs to fight to survive and get out of this horrible place. The central element of the game is the aforementioned survival. However, dealing with the reality of the island is not easy, since it is a survival game with an open world, the player has to participate in many activities to continue the existence of the protagonist in this hostile environment.

The hero has to quench thirst, quench hunger, fight dangerous animals such as wolves, sharks, snakes and bears, and also endure the change in weather, since a bad aura can cause hypothermia. It is important to monitor the hero's body condition, as any broken bones or blood loss can be fatal.

Better Late Than Dead features a fairly immersive plot that introduces a series of obstacles. The hero arrives at the aforementioned island with no memories, the only thing close to him is a mysterious image that shows a person who could be the hero during his childhood or someone completely different, but close to him.
