Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - The Deluxe Editionfor PC, PSV and etc. is an enhanced version of Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate that was released for handheld consoles. Franchise owner Warner Bros. Interactive has decided that the game will be released for home gaming systems through digital distribution channels.

The story continues the themes of Batman: Arkham Origins. Therefore, players have the opportunity to experience more of Batman's adventures before becoming the Dark Knight. The action is set in the title Blackgate Prison, which is located on an island near Gotham City. Batman is called there to quell a riot started by the prisoners.

Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - The Deluxe Edition is a game called beat 'em up. The player observes events from a distinctive side camera, although characters can also move in the third dimension to a limited extent.

The game focuses on three things: exploration, combat (regular enemies and special bosses), and interaction with encountered characters and environmental elements. In the game, the protagonist can make use of various items and gadgets (batarang, rope launcher and others).
