Batman Arkham Asylumfor PC / Windows is a production that tells the new adventures of the titular Dark Knight, which combines elements of adventure, fighting and stealth gameplay. It's worth noting that the script was written by Paul Dini, who is one of the authors of Batman: The Animated Series.

The game's action begins shortly after Batman once again manages to capture Joker and brings the villain to the eponymous mental institution. Shortly after arrival Joker somehow escapes. Plus, it turns out it was all part of his meticulous plan. Controlling Batman we must lead to the re-imprisonment of all escaped criminals. During the game we find many other villains (apart from the Joker) characteristic of this universe. These include Victor Zsasz, Killer Croc, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy.

In addition to the main single-player campaign, the developers also implemented an additional challenge mode. Here we have access to two types of gameplay, respectively covering the mass elimination of enemies or acting in stealth. In order to successfully complete these stages we have to exhibit good reflexes and a deep understanding of Batman's abilities.
