Asterix and Obelix XXL 2Remasteredis an updated version of the 2005 three-dimensional platform game. It was released on PS4, PC, etc. and was based on the comics created by Rene Goscinny and Albert Uderzo. The game is full of action and a large dose of humor and allows players to take on the role of the two titular Gauls. The remastered version was developed by Microids. The original version was created by Etranges Libellules.

Players take on the roles of Asterix and Obelix. The game takes place during the time of the Roman Empire. All the druids in Gaul had disappeared. Only Getafix, the protagonists' friend, remains. However, he behaves strangely and may die at any moment. It seems that, to solve the mystery of the disappearance of the druids, the protagonists will have to travel to the amusement park known as Las Vegum.

The protagonists are observed from various perspectives (usually from behind their backs, but the camera rotates during the game), players must explore Las Vegum, avoid traps, fight Roman troops and discover the main plot of the story.
