After back-to-back adventures that took place chronologically during the Crusades, the Italian Renaissance, the American Revolutionary War, the Golden Age of Piracy, the French Revolution, and the Victorian era, this time we return to the distant past: ancient Egypt.

This part of the Ubisoft saga was developed by the Montreal branch, the team whose core is made up of people responsible for, among others, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.

Regarding the plot, Assassin's Creed: Empire for PC/Windows is a kind of prequel to the entire series, taking players further, so far, back in time, to ancient Egypt, long before the two Orders. opposites were founded. During the game, we play a slave with slightly darker skin, who is a distant ancestor of Altair, the protagonist of the first Assassin's Creed.
